Like most people my age, I'm hooked on social media. I regularly stories and check several times a day. One morning, I saw a party photo where someone had my boyfriend Zac. When I zoomed in, I saw him with his arms around another girl. Too furious and surprised to to her post, I immediately to ‘single' and then Zac on all my accounts. Zac tried to get in touch with me several times over the next few days, but I had decided to and get on with my life. My friends told me I should give him another chance, but I was too angry to speak to him. A few weeks later, an ex-classmate called Brad . Although we'd never been that close, I decided to accept. Minutes later, Brad , asking how I was, and whether I'd be interested in meeting him for a coffee the next day. We met for coffee, and one thing led to another—we started seeing each other more often, and I soon fell madly in love with him. A few months later, during halftime at a football match, Brad surprised me by getting down on one knee in front of the cameras and proposing. The crowd cheered, I said yes, and the video after someone posted it. We were flooded with messages from friends and family. Now we’re happily married, and I have social media to thank for helping me find my true love.
