It was my wife’s birthday, and I was planning to cook a special meal. I decided to make garlic bread with spaghetti to start, followed by strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce. On my way home, I stopped at the bakery to buy a of bread. Then I drove to a nearby supermarket and got a of champagne, a of spaghetti, some garlic, and a of tomatoes for the pasta. I also got a of strawberry ice cream and a of chocolate to make the chocolate sauce with. When I got home, I started to prepare the meal. First, I cut the bread into thin , then I chopped the garlic into small and mixed it with some butter. I planned to put this on the bread just before I served the meal. I then boiled a pot of water with a of salt and added some pasta with a bit of oil. While the pasta was cooking, I started making the chocolate sauce for the dessert. I melted some butter in the oven, then broke the bar of chocolate into small pieces and mixed it with the butter. Soon I had a creamy sauce, which would be delicious with the ice cream. Everything looked wonderful, and I couldn’t wait for my wife to taste the food. Pleased with my efforts, I poured myself a of wine and waited for her to come home.
