📝 Use of English Test – B1

Hi Mum,

We’ve ____justalreadyyetever arrived at the caravan park. We stopped at a few places on the way here, including a castle and a hill with beautiful views. I thought the castle was amazing, but the kids ____weren'tdidn'thaven't beenaren't there. They didn't find the castle ____interestinginterestedboringbored. They just wanted to run around.

We had a few problems getting through the main gates. The owners of the caravan that we’ve rented told us that they ____had leftlefthave leftwere leaving a key for us at reception, but when we arrived, reception was closed and there was no-one there. We had to phone the owners and ask them where ____to findfindfindingfound the key. In the end, someone from the shop helped us get into reception and pick up the key.

Well, the caravan park is very different ____fromthantowith how I remember it. Since the last time we ____werehave beenhad beenwent here, it has doubled in size! A new swimming pool ____has been builtwas builtbuiltis building, and there is also another bar. I wish I had known about that when I booked the caravan. We’re really close to it and it is ____sosuchverytoo noisy that I don’t think I will sleep well tonight. I ____hadwould haveshould havemust have better buy some earplugs when I get the chance, otherwise I’m going to be very grumpy this trip. If I ____had knownknewhave knownwould know about the pool, I wouldn't have rented this caravan.

I ____haven't seendidn't seedon't seehadn't seen Aunt Jane and Uncle Robert yet, ____butandsobecause I know they are somewhere in the caravan park! Their caravan is number 73, ____rightisn't itcorrectlytrue? I’ll probably look for them tomorrow and invite them to dinner ____whilewhenduringas soon as we are here.
